Seafood industry veteran Christa Ingalls to join Maritech's North American sales team

Maritech, a leading developer of digital seafood software solutions, names seafood industry expert Christa Ingalls as New Business Development Manager, based out of their Seattle location, as part of their ongoing commitment to strengthening their North American presence.

“We are very excited to welcome Christa Ingalls to Maritech,” says Blair Shelton, Managing Director, Maritech NA. “Her in-depth industry savvy and market knowledge is core to our strategic direction, especially at a time when Maritech is undergoing significant growth internationally and with substantial new product development and expansion of the seafood value chain.”

A seafood industry specialist of almost 30 years, Christa has had great success selling and consulting to the industry for many different companies and in many different segments of the market.  Her extensive background includes not only steering the helm of her own seafood consultancy business, but also comprises positions as Vice President of Sales with Cannon Fish Company  and Director, Global Seafood Program for Philips foods, where she created and implemented a strategy for sustainable, premium species.  Her deep industry roots include progressive experience as, among others, Seafood Commodity Manager sourcing for Avendra LLC and Account Executive with Pacific Seafood. Ms. Ingalls will be based in Seattle. Recognized for her in-depth knowledge of seafood and experience as a buyer and sales executive for prominent seafood industry companies, she will help drive the sales growth for Maritech.

This addition to the Maritech team follows a year of steady growth marked by new investment in Maritech by Norwegian Seafood and Aquaculture Investment firm, Broodstock Capital, the acquisition of Lillebakk Engineering AS, a fast-growing Norwegian company focused on Industrial IoT, and further successful expansion into the North American seafood software market.
