TRANSMIT REQUIRED CATCH DATA CERTIFICATION BETWEEN ALL PARTS OF THE SUPPLY CHAIN EFFORTLESSLY
From January 1st, 2010, the EU introduced a certification system for legally caught fish. Any fishery products caught and imported into any EU country must now be accompanied by a catch certificate. Equally any EU caught fish exported outside the EU (e.g. for processing) and then re-exported back into the EU, will also need to be accompanied by a catch certificate.
A catch certificate is a document that contains details of the vessel, species, country of origin, weight of catch, etc. and must be included with the shipment when exporting to the EU. This requires that information on the Sales note line level must follow products through the supply chain from 1st hand (fish processing plant) to exporter. Even if you are not directly exporting, this information must be made available to the next link in the chain, who may then export the seafood products after re-packing or further processing.
Maritech Catch Certificate is the easiest possible way to communicate Sales note line references and related basic data throughout the supply chain, enabling you to effortlessly gather all necessary information and generate the appropriate catch certificates without effort or risk of error.
